4th September 2013: French Toothfish fishery acheives MSC certification

Marine Stewardship CouncilThe French Patagonian toothfish fishery around the Kerguelen Islands has been recognised by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) as a sustainable and well managed fishery.  The fishery has a total allowable catch of 5,100t per annum.

This certification brings the total portion of global Toothfish catches that are MSC certified up to 50%.
