31 May 2012: COLTO “..second most important organisation in addressing IUU fishing in the Southern Ocean”

A new Stockholm Resilience Centre paper titled ‘Global Cooperation among Diverse Organisations to Reduce Illegal Fishing in the Southern Ocean‘ has been published in Conservation Biology.  The paper examined collaboration between 117 organisations and ranked COLTO as the second most important organisation in addressing IUU fishing for toothfish in the Southern Ocean.
