23 January, 2004: The first member of the boarding team to fast-rope onto Maya V fell overboard, resulting in cancellation of boarding. The ship’s boat then went to pick up the man overboard, that boat capsized resulting in the boat crew as well as the boarding team member going overboard. Sterling efforts from the whole ship’s crew resulted in all personnel who fell overboard being brought back onto Warramunga, and all are ok.
